People of Bukhara
I like exploring life as it is. Be it high in the lonely snow-capped mountains or down in villages and old cities where people go about their everyday lives. The more different a culture is, the more exciting it is for me to explore. The beating heart of every culture are its people and their ordinary daily tasks: a morning walk, music practice, playing a boardgame, drinking tea or learning to draw. So ordinary, yet at the same time so extraordinary: how everywhere in the world words for such tasks are the same, but in reality look quite different from one place to another. It is a phenomenon that divides us, yet at the same crosses bridges over places, people, cultures and even times.
